CARSON-NEWMAN UNIVERSITY, founded in 1851, rests in the foothills of The Great Smoky Mountains in Jefferson City, Tennessee. Carson-Newman competes in 18 intercollegiate sports on the NCAA Division II level including basketball, baseball, cross country, football, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track and field and volleyball.
